Destruction has been held to constitute a prominent mark of local infection by the Leishman parasite elsewhere. These are important points ; but Turner's discovery is, nevertheless, a very remarkable one, and adds another puzzle to the already somewhat obscure and enigmatic p?itholog}? of this parasite.*
